How to make 1940s sodas and milkshakes:

Brown Cow

2 scoops chocolate ice cream
12 ounces root beer

 

Directions:

1) Scoop ice cream into a large glass

2) Pour root beer over ice cream

3) Top off with whipped cream

4) Grab a straw and a spoon, and enjoy


 

Egg Cream

4 tablespoons chocolate syrup

1/2 cup cold milk

8 ounces cold seltzer water

 

Directions:

1) Pour chocolate syrup into a large glass

2) Pour in milk and stir until smooth

3) Slowly add seltzer water, stir until foamy

4) Top off with whipped cream and a straw


 

Chocolate Malted

2 scoops chocolate ice cream

1/2 cup malted milk powder

1/2 cup milk (or more as needed to taste)

 

Directions:

1) With an adult’s help, add ice cream + powder

2) Mix in blender until combined

3) Slowly add milk

4) Top off with whipped cream, then start slurping
